About

From the moment I watched an artist at work as a young child, I was captivated. There was something magical about the way color and emotion flowed from brush to canvas. That artist, seeing my fascination, gifted me my very first painting set—and I haven’t stopped creating since.

Over the past 45 years, I’ve painted on and off, always returning to my brushes as a way to express, explore, and connect. My greatest inspiration comes from the rich, earthy tones and vivid contrasts of the Australian outback. There’s a raw, timeless beauty in the land that never fails to move me.

While the outback holds a special place in my heart, my artistic interests are wide-ranging. I enjoy working with still life, landscapes, and portraits, often blending them with impressionistic styles. I love the freedom and movement that impressionism allows, and I’m always eager to experiment with new techniques and creative approaches.

Art, for me, is not just about the finished piece—it’s about the process, the emotion, and the story behind every brushstroke. I hope my work brings as much joy to others as the journey has brought to me.
